Coming from a diverse background spanning the finance, advertising, fashion and public relations worlds, Tamara Walker brings nearly a decade of experience to the table. She is an insightful strategist with high-quality communications talents that include trend story development, media relations and industry expert establishment.

Prior to her becoming the NY PR Diva, Tamara sharpened her tactics and writing skills at Total Media Corporation (advertising) where she created copy for radio and television for various clientele. Tamara developed and mastered her public relations skill set during her time at double E communications (a boutique PR firm) where she worked with the design minds behind some of our favorite TV, film and commercial gems.

Tamara is the Founder and Director of NY PR Diva and its subsidiary, Siena Media Group. NY PR Diva is a “PR incubator” that works specifically with small businesses and start ups who are venturing out.  Launched in November of 2011, SIENA MEDIA GROUP is a multifaceted boutique communications firm which goes beyond traditional public relations by providing one-on-one, client specific services to the companies it represents.  Tamara has worked with emerging and established brands including: Lane Bryant, Naturally Me Skincare, SULA NYC, the Miss America Organization, the UnderWraps Agency and more.

Tamara is a graduate of Wellesley College with a dual degree in International Relations and Spanish.
