MOUNT VERNON, NY—NOVEMBER 13, 2018– American Legacy Network Corp. (ALN), the subscription video on demand (SVOD) streaming service showcasing African American history and culture-themed programming and original content for the whole family, recently announced the launch of its Title III Regulation Crowdfunding online public offering (OPO) via  Start Engine Capital. The company stock began being sold via StartEngine earlier this month.

For over 23 years, the mission of the American Legacy brand (magazine, board game, mobile truck exhibit, Black history curriculum guide, and television program) has been to preserve and celebrate African-American history and culture. American Legacy has been a catalyst in preserving the African-American experience in America. The transition to television is the next step in the brand’s evolution. 

“To our knowledge, there is currently no network on television today that is totally dedicated to celebrating African-American history and culture on a consistent basis,” said Rodney J Reynolds, Founder of American Legacy Network. “American Legacy Network will fill the void with content designed to inspire, empower and educate the black community, especially our youth in America. ALN will be a network that the entire family can enjoy.”

American Legacy Network launched a web/mobile version of the network in August of this year and has plans to release a mobile app later this year. The company is actively seeking additional distribution partnerships for its direct to consumer OTT platform.

New Streaming Service Offers Access to Classic Black Films, Documentaries and Original Programming Celebrating Black History and Culture

Utilizing Indiegogo, the brand looks to raise $30,000 to not only produce the collection it recently showcased in London but to also start creating economic stability and sustainability in Haiti. Kreyol looks to begin production in April.

Founded by Joelle Fontaine, I Am Kreyol is a fashion brand dedicated to ALL WOMEN that was inspired by the Haitian cultural ideals of freedom, resilience and strength. The brand seeks to empower not only the women who wear the beautiful designs but also the women who help produce it. “My mother, Yolette, and I left a beautiful life in Haiti in the midst of political unrest in the late 80s when her fashion boutique was burned down. Designer Ana Segura returns to New York Fashion Week with “Rocker Chic” Collection

NEW YORK CITY— Ana Segura, famed intimate apparel designer, announced today she will be debuting a new capsule collection featuring ready-to-wear pieces during next month’s New York Fashion Week. The presentation style showcase will take place on February 8th at The Armory, located at 529 W 42 nd Street in midtown Manhattan. 
 
Known for her sexy yet stylish lingerie assortments of the past, this new collection entitled “Rocker Chic,” represents a departure from Ana’s past as she shifts her attention to ready-to-wear with a focus on pieces that can easily transition from day to night and ultimately to the red carpet. This collection features a strong intimates aesthetic combined with a sleek black and gold palette. “After taking a break to

start a family, I decided it was time to return to my true love and passion,” says Segura. “This collection signifies my growth throughout my career—displaying my background in lingerie but showcasing styles made for a woman who loves to be in the spotlight.
